Your organisation
Everyone who uses SpatiaFi belongs to an organisation. An organisation has a roster of members, a subscription, and its own sign-in settings.
Roles
Each member has one role. The roles stack: an owner can do everything an admin can, and an admin can do everything a member can.
| Role | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Owner | Accountable for the organisation. Manages people, and also decides how the organisation is secured: which sign-in methods are allowed and whether a second factor is required. |
| Admin | Day-to-day administration. Invites and removes members, changes roles and product access, and suspends or restores members. Cannot change sign-in settings. |
| Member | Uses the products the organisation has bought. Sees no administration pages. |
Inviting someone
- Open Users in the portal.
- Choose Invite.
- Enter the person's work email address, a role, and the products they should see.
They receive an email with a sign-in link. Until they sign in for the first time, they show as Invited.
Changing access
From the Users page an admin or owner can:
- change a member's role
- change which products a member can open
- suspend a member, which blocks sign-in without removing their history
- remove a member from the organisation
Sign-in settings
Only owners can change these, under Settings:
- which sign-in methods the organisation allows
- whether every member must use a second factor
- resetting a member's authenticator app when they have lost access to it
